SETUP OUTLOOK EXPRESS
In order to establish an SIS email account contact SIS at 1-877-701-4050 or submit your request via fax to (780) 451-6050.
- Open a Web browser (ex. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari)
- Enable IMAP in your sis.net account by logging in @ http://mail.google.com/a/sis.net/#inbox
- Click Settings at the top
- Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP
- Select Enable IMAP
- Select Save Changes
- Open Outlook Express
- Click on Tools menu and select Accounts
- Click Add, then click Mail
- Enter a name on the 'Display name' field, and click Next
- Enter your full email address (username@sis.net) in the 'Email address' field, and click Next
- For 'My incoming mail server is a ______ server', select IMAP from the drop-down list.
- Enter 'imap.gmail.com' on the 'Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server'. Enter 'smtp.gmail.com' in the 'Outgoing mail (SMTP) server'.
- Click Next.
- Enter your full email address (including @sis.net) in the 'Account name' field. Enter your password in the 'Password' field, and click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Highlight imap.gmail.com under Account, and click Properties.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Under Outgoing Mail (SMTP), check the box next to 'This server requires a secure connection (SSL).'
- Enter 465 in the 'Outgoing mail (SMTP)' field.
- Under Incoming mail (IMAP), check the box next to 'This server requires a secure connection (SSL)'. The port will change to 993.

- Click the Servers tab, and check 'My server requires authentication.'
- Click OK.
